Game Of Will
By: The Only Mrs Malfoy
A/N: My first try at poetry! This should be interesting… Anyways, this poem revolves around the relationship between Hermione and Draco, my all-time favorite HP pairing! Hope you enjoy! By the way, I hope you can tell that this is in Hermione's POV…
I hate the way you always know what buttons you have to press.
The way you make me lose control; another reason for my stress.
You always know just what to say to make my temper rise.
You possess every single quality that I utterly despise.
You tease and joke and play and laugh, and it irks me ever so.
And when I want you to stop, it's always a simple 'no'.
But then again, the way you tease, it gives me an uneasy sensation.
Your boisterous ways and serpent tongue are driving me to desperation.
So I beg of you, just for once, put your rudeness aside.
Stop smirking, just listen, halt your hasty stride.
You're devious ways and cackle, though evil they may be,
Have a deathly grip on the soul that is residing within me.
You spur emotions deep within, and I find them hard to master.
After I see your stormy eyes, it's a one-way ticket to disaster.
I can't think, I can't breath, I can't help but stare back.
At the boy who has my heart, though sincerity he may lack.
So please release this grip that you have got on me,
Or I'll be forced to end this game of will, that I have played so desperately.
A/N: That wasn't too horrible was it? Please tell me what you think!
(Pssst! Hey! Hey you…Yeah, you! See that interesting little purple button down there? The one that says "Go"? Doesn't it look cool? I wonder what happens if you click it… Why don't you find out? And when the review box pops up, why don't you type something about the cruddy poem you just read? Yeah, that totally screams 'cool'. I mean, just look at it. A poor little purple button… all alone in the world. Help that button today! Make it feel wanted! Do the right thing and leave a review! I mean, make that button's day! That's what I meant to say… heh. I promise, I'm not crazy.)
Just excuse that note up there. I felt like coming up with a creative way of asking you readers for reviews. ; )
