This story is about Maxie and Jesse. Two months ago Jesse died, or so everyone thought. When Maxie, Robin, and Sam are kidnapped they find two people they never thought they would see again.

Chapter 1

Ever since the death of Maxie Jones's boyfriend Jesse Beaudry, she had made a string of very bad mistakes. The past two months had been the worst of her life and there was, unfortunately, nothing anyone could do to change that. She had started drinking and partying, kept the truth from her friend Nikolas about his son, attempted to blackmail Jax about concealing the fact that Nikolas was really baby John's father, and most recently had stolen an abundance of painkillers from General Hospital for her friend Lucky Spencer, who also happened to be her boyfriend's former police partner.

From now on, she decided, she was going to try to change things. The first would be to admit the truth to Nikolas about the son he didn't know he had. When she told her cousin Robin this, both were unaware of the very dangerous and powerful and dangerous woman lurking in the shadows. Maxie and Robin sat near the patio doors eating dinner at the Metro Court. Maxie had finally decided that the right thing for her to do was to tell Nikolas that he was John's biological father, and she was now filling Robin in.

Robin: Are you sure? This will open a very large can of worms, for everyone.

Maxie: Yeah, I know. I'm just tired of lying. And anyways, Nikolas deserves to know that he has a son. He's a good person and would be a great dad. It isn't fair for me or anyone else to keep him from getting that chance. Plus, you can stick it to Carly, and prove that you have something on her.

Robin: Yeah. But I shouldn't be about that. Anyways, do you want me to be with you when you tell Nikolas?

Maxie: That would probably be a good idea. Strength in numbers. If one of us decides to back out, we can convince them otherwise.

Robin: Then it's a deal.

Throughout their conversation the two women never noticed the woman listening in from the shadows behind the patio door. And certainly had no idea of what she was about to make happen.
