With a final twist of the Arrow of Apollo, a low rumbling resonated throughout the chamber. Ancient gears ground against each other as the doors to the Tomb of Athena pried themselves apart. Brilliant white light burst forth from between the doors, the source emerging from the Tomb.
FREE.
The word wasn't so much heard as blasted directly into the minds of the assembled Colonials. Its source was difficult to make out because of its illumination, but it appeared reasonably humanoid with large wing-like extensions sprouting from its sides or back. It looked, Laura Roslyn realized, like the figure in the center of the Galactica's logo.
It was beautiful.
"What… who are you?" Roslyn asked hesitantly.
