Authors Note OK, I recently watched the Corpse Bride, and I felt there was something missing. So here it is.
Ch.1 Happily Ever After?
The ending of the Corpse Bride was certainly a happy one, but a story with a happy ending is a story that has not ended yet. As I recall, Victor was to marry Victoria, and Emily was free on her own to venture around, everyone was happy. However, what will happen to Emily as she ventures out? This is a story that no one knows yet. This is a story that has exciting points and unexpected surprises. This is a story that I will complete.
Emily skips around happily and full of exuberance; reminding herself of the good deed she has done by letting Victor marry Victoria. However, as she continues down the road, it is dawned upon her that she has lost her "love". And by the time she has realized what she has done, she can not turn back.
"Listen to me, I am you conscience, and I say there's a way to get him back."
What is this? A strange and unfamiliar voice?
"Shut up! He is not mine and I will not go through all the trouble with fighting with his fiancé" replies Emily.
"What are you to do then?"
The strange and unfamiliar voice crawls out in Emily's face. Why, it's the maggot.
"I don't know"
"Then listen to me, I've got a plan"
