Figures in the Night Part5
"Who is it?" Scott asks.
He stands in front of Shelby as if to protect her from a murderer.
There is silence.
"Scott, who is it?"
"I don't know. Someone asked for Daisy." Scott tells her.
Shelby thinks of what Daisy was telling her about the note. Is someone following her?
The figure in the woods starts racing away. "This will never happen again!" The figure scolds itself.
"What happened Scott?" Shelby asks.
"I'm not sure. Well whoever-or whatever was there, is gone now." Scott comforts her.
"That was a little creepy."
"Don't worry about Shel. Don't let it spoil our time together."
"Yeah, but who would want to talk to Daisy at 12:00 midnight?" Shelby is a little creeped out.
Scott doesn't say anything. Instead, he kisses her. Shelby holds him tight, feeling safe in his strong arms.

"Daisy!" Shelby shakes her trying to wake her up. "Wake up! I gotta tell you something."
She groans. "Go away."
"A visitor for you came to me and Scott last night." Shelby gets right to the point.
"What?" Daisy asks still sleepy.
"We were outside and someone asked if it was you. Then it just disappeared. Weird, huh?" Shelby says all at once.
"That's nice." Daisy says not caring. She figures it was David and she is mad at him.
"That's nice? Come on Daze, secret visitors? And all you have to say is That's Nice?" Shelby is surprised.
"Yup."
Juliette adjusts her covers. "Would you keep it down Shelby! I am trying to sleep!"
Shelby rolls her eyes annoyed that she always interferes in her conversations.
Kat decides to get up. She walks over to Shelby and Daisy. "So who's this mystery guest you're talking about Shel? You've got me interested. Does she have a secret admirer?"
"That's the thing, I don't know."

During math class, Scott is bored, so he decides to doodle. He draws a heart and writes SCOTT AND SHELBY FOREVER.
"That's very sweet Scott, but we're not in art class." Sophie says looking over his shoulder.
"Um, oh, sorry." He says embarrassed.
He glances at Shelby and she blows him a kiss.
Ezra looks disgusted. "Ewww...couldn't you guys save this for later?"
Ezra looks at Daisy. He decides to blow her a kiss. She looks flattered, but then looks away.
He smiles.
Shelby and Scott are still making goo goo eyes at each other.
"Ezra..." Sophie says giving him a look.
"What?! I'm just giving my sweetheart an innocent little kiss." He looks at Daisy and gives her a big smile.
"Um, excuse me there Ezzy boy, but no one gives my girl a kiss except me." David says.
David blows Daisy a kiss.
Sophie stands there watching almost in amusment. Daisy doesn't know what to do.
Ezra gives David a mean look. "Whatever."

It is 12:00 midnight and guitar music starts to pour out in front of the girls dorm.
"What is that?" Juliette sits up in her bed. The rest of the girls do too.
They turn on the lights. They open the window to see who it is.
"Who is it?" Scott asks.
