Collision
Pt. 1 (Haseo)

Haseo, the "Terror of Death" was a respect PKK (Player Killer Killer). Many PK's despised him, however, he didn't care what others thought. As an adept rouge, he easily wielded scythes, broadswords and dual blades. His eyes glew an eerie red, and his white hair was semi-long with red tips. He was a stern symbol of evil and mystery and everything dark. His talent was unmatched, and he found that "The World R:2" was quickly limiting him. Although this was "just a game" to other virtual characters in The World, Haseo knew this couldn't be true.

He had heard about a boy playing the game, and named his character "Kite". Kite was a noob, a total weakling and had no potential to rise above the bar set before him. But then something happened. One day, he stumbled along a glitch in the seemingly harmless game. It was an item called the Twilight Bracelet. At first, Kite saw the Twilight Bracelet as a hack in the game, and potentially endangering his virtual character. When he learned that he could control the bracelet and use unique in-game attack's such as "data drain" he began increase dramatically in levels and fame.

That's when the real bad news happened. It was a normal day in "The World" untill the game just shut-down. Kite who was playing at that time, became infused with the human that was playing as him. This made Kite not only have a soul in the virtual game, but also caused him to go corrupt. The cause of the shut-down game was fire being set to the broadcast building, hosting every file of "The World." 22 years later, the game was remade, this time called "The World R:2". Old and new users joined the game and quickly began to return to their normal in-game lives. Everything seemed normal for a while, players interacting with each other, quests being completed, etc.

Now, a corrupted Kite made his return.

Haseo was sitting next to his best friend/crush Shino. They were in a peaceful area with no monsters, and no other players. They simply stood there for hours and talked.
Haseo's eyes looked up and he saw a "new message" indicator. "Hang on Shino, I'll be right back." He logged out, checked his e-mail and quickly logged in again. He opened the door to the temple where Shino and him were chatting.

His eyes watched in despar as Shino fell to the floor.

A mysterious figure with a blue aura had slayed Shino, even though this area didn't allow player-killing. He carried dual blades, as Haseo did, and had left a jagged A into the temple statue and Shino's body. Without hesitation, Haseo charged at the killer with his broadsword. However, this did not seem at all like a simple virtual duel. The pain he felt was real, as was his anger towards this man. He did not have a name, or level or anything at all--this was a real duel. Haseo was quickly defeated, and with a last effort, he ran at the figure shrouded in aura, and looked into the face of Kite.

Kite showed no emotion. His turquoise hair covered both of his eyes, and his teeth were sharp and jagged. Suddenly, Kite's right wrist flared blue and green flames. The Twilight bracelet was activating. Haseo then felt a shockwave flow through his body. He yelled in anguish, and found himself paralyzed in front of Kite (his corrupted name is Azure Kite). Haseo could only look into the azure flames as he was about to be data drained.

NOTE: In the original game, when a player is data drained by Azure Kite in "The World" they are put into a life-long coma in the REAL WORLD.
(YES, SHINO HAS BEEN PUT INTO A LIFE-LONG COMA)
