Ginny and Arthur
"Daddy? Are you sure that I won't fall flat on my face?" An eleven year old ginny asked her father as she climbed onto his lap on the night before she left for Hogwarts for the first time ever. " Aw hon don't worry besides you have Harry and Ron to look out for you after all." Ginny blushed immediately at the sound of Harry's name and hid behind the curtain of her long red hair. " But daddy what if Harry and Ron don't like me?" Ginny asked as she started to gently sob. " Oh baby don't worry they like you. Harry even stuck up for you at Flourish and Blotts the other day. And you and Ron have been friends since the day you were born."seeing that she still looked a little worried he wrapped his arms around his baby girl and gave her a big papa bear hug. " hey squirt I hope you realize that we have your back." Ron teased as he and Harry came down with their trunks. "See honey there ya go you have your own little backup squad should thing go wrong. Her dad said.
Twelve Years later
" Daddy, I can't believe I'm marrying Harry. I still remember the night before I left for my first year at Hogwarts." Ginny said happily as she looked in the mirror at her long white wedding dress while her dad waited by the door to escort her down the aisle. "Ginny I hope you realize that you'll always be my little girl and that no guy will ever be good enough even though harry comes close." Arthur finished with a tear in his eye " Daddy your always have a spot close to my heart I thought you knew that." Ginny said sounding like she was close to tears also. " I know babe I know." He replied and gave her a hug. "Well hon I think it's time we took you to get married to that fiancé of yours." He chuckled holding his hand out to her like when she was little. She grabbed his hand and said " ok daddy thanks for everything oh and I love you." " I love you too sweetheart."
Harry and Lily
" Daddy I wanna go to hogwarts with jamesy and al." Lily cried on their way home from the train station. " Oh honey, It's ok don't worry you'll go in another two years and they will go by fast just be patient"Ginny said to the backseat. " NO I WANNA GO NOW" Lily screamed and started crying. Harry looked into lily's eyes and said " Honey don't worry you will get to go soon but think when you go it means no more late night ice cream parties for you and me and no more Friday night movies for you and your mom so enjoy them without albus or james getting in the way for right now and then when your ready you can go to Hogwarts." " Okay daddy," Lily replied a glint in her brown eyes. Now I know how Ginny's dad must have felt when ginny was younger. Harry thought and then they all went home for their ice cream and Friday night movie.
