All those wasted years fighting
You fell in love with him
I tried so hard to deny it
Yet I'm loving you instead of him
Your unkempt wavy hair attracts me
Like bees to honey and skin to silk
My eyes searched for you constantly
Your intoxicating voice I yearned to hear
My mind keeps on wandering
To what attracted you to him in the first place
He was just an insufferable git that doesn't deserve you
And know that I thought about it, neither do I
But still I wondered whether you even care for me
Or whether you know I exist
But whatever happens in the end
I'll keep on dreaming that someday you'll notice me
Because fate has its ways
And I'll keep on hoping that you'll understand it.
I eavesdropped on your conversation one day
And knew that was wrong for me to do so
But I couldn't stand it
You were once again talking about him
Giggling like you've never fallen before
I watched as your face glowed and eyes twinkle merrily
You were in love, that was for sure
And I'm jealous of what he has instead of me
I couldn't help it anymore
That was why I barged in your conversation with force
I told you you were filthy and that you didn't deserve him
And yet you kept on loving him
You just stood there, chin up, and told me a voice so tranquil,
"A cunning Slytherin like you would know not better than to
Tell me what's right to wrong. I love him and nothing would
Stand on my way whether you like it or not"
My face reddened and my hands curled into a fist
I can't help it
I was jealous of him.
Dear sweet Hermione,
I'll love you till the end of time
Even though your heart already belongs to him
I'll wait for you till the time is right
My heart can only beat once again
If you will give me the chance to love you like you do to him.
