A Dragon Slayer.
An Earth Dragon Slayer, to be exact. I was raised by the dragon Terrecea, until that one day, on the seventh day of the seventh month, on the year X777. She disappeared, without a word. I was left to live on my own as a street rat in Magnolia, on Strawberry Street. Well, not completely alone. When I was 11 years old, I found an egg. From it emerged an Exceed, with purple fur and dog ears, even though Exceed usually have cat ears. I decided to name him Cobalt. Anyway, we were sitting in our alley and getting ready to eat our bread. Yes, we stole it... So? I can't let me or Cobalt starve!
Little did I know that someone was watching us.
Wendy's P. O. V
Today I had decided to go out on a job request. It was asking to catch a troublemaking street rat named Jade Stone. I thought she was very pretty, but Carla disagreed.
Carla: You can't tell if it's a girl or a boy! Her hair is so short and messy!
Wendy: She's a girl. Look at the eyes.
The girl's eyes were the most intriguing and beautiful feature. Emerald green, to be exact. I would've continued staring at the poster if Carla hadn't snapped me out of it.
Carla: Alright, Wendy. Today is the day you finish a job by yourself. I have other matters to attend to.
Wendy: Okay! I'll try!
Carla: I'll be off then. Take care.
40 minutes have passed. I searched almost all the alleys on Strawberry Street. There was just one left.
Wendy: She's gotta be... Here! That must be Jade Stone.
She looked a lot more pretty in real life. I found myself staring at her beautiful eyes... But I shouldn't be standing around! I have a job to do! But still... my legs feel like they can't move at all... could this feeling possibly be... no, that's crazy!
Wendy: * ahem* Um, Ms. Stone! You are under arrest for theft and pranking. I will take you... to...
I suddenly spotted an Exceed beside her. Only Dragon Slayers have Exceeds, so that means... Whoa!
Wendy: Excuse me, but I have to ask you something.
Jade: What is it?
Wendy: Are you a Dragon Slayer?
Jade: As a matter of fact, yes. I'm an Earth Dragon Slayer.
Wendy:I-I'm a Sky Dragon Slayer!
Jade: Can you prove it?
Wendy: On the seventh day of the seventh month, on the year X777, the dragon who raised me, Grandeeney, disappeared without a word. Did the same thing happen with your dragon?
Cobolt: Oh, you're a good person!
Jade: Say, are there other Dragon Slayers?
Wendy: Yes. Gajeel Redfox and Natsu Dragneel. We're all part of the number one guild, Fairy Tail.
Jade: Fairy Tail... I want to join that guild someday. That was a everlasting dream of mine.
Wendy: Come with me!
Jade: Huh? To where?
Wendy: To Fairy Tail. Your dream is about to come true!
