I once fell asleep, looking at the sky,
Blue and gray as clouds passed by,
I once counted to ten to keep myself calm,
But I dug my nails in my bloody palm.
I once saw my friend, falling from a cliff,
I should have fallen with him, I should drift,
I once looked at the Sun, a bright shocking yellow,
And I love that color, so soft and mellow,
I once looked at his eyes, deeper than the blackest sky.
I once looked at his eyes, brighter than the bluest sky.
I once held his hand, soft and strong and pale,
He looked at me questioningly, but I just smiled.
I once kissed his lips, softer, warmer, and brave.
Amazing he didn't say he would send me to my grave.
I once felt him shiver beneath me, my, he was cold,
So I held him in a warm embrace, he stayed in my hold.
I once told him "I love you" and said it was true,
Because no one is more beautiful, more important than you.
I once fell in love with the most annoying voice,
But at times it's all I can hear, I rejoice.
I once fell in love with the most interesting hair,
That stuck up like a chicken's ass all up in the air.
I once thought he was an angel that fell from the sky,
And landed as a human to stay right by my side.
I once fell asleep, looking at the sky,
But I woke up and smiled to see you by my side.
