Harry apprehensively scanned the crowded train station for his friends. He hadn't had word from them since the beginning of the summer. Dumbledore had forbidden him from visiting what he considered his family. With the return of Voldemort just two months ago life had turned to a living hell. Finally though he was returning home to Hogwarts, where he would be reunited with his friends.
He heard an appreciative whistle from behind him, and turned around quickly. Standing before him was Ron and Ginny Weasly and Hermione Granger. Ron's arm was draped casually over Hermione's shoulder, and Ginny was looking him up and down.
"I love the new look Harry," she stated with a wink, "It really suits you. Simple seems to be best in your case huh. Such a lovely physique."
Harry blushed red. His new clothes did fit better, and the contacts surely made him happier, but he didn't think there was much difference.
"It's not that big a deal Gin, just jeans and a t-shirt," he responded, blush still bright on his cheeks.
"Ah, but it's the tightness that counts, it makes you look damn sexy," pitched in Hermione. She winked at the fifteen year old boy.
Ron playfully nudged his girlfriend before chipping in. He winked at Harry and said, "If I didn't have a girlfriend I think I'd date you mate."
Harry gave his friend an appalled look. His eyes were large with disbelief.
Ron laughed, "Just kiddin ya mate, I'm as straight as an arrow. It's all Hermione for me."

A flustered Mrs. Weasley strode up right then, hearing her son's comment. "Well I would hope so Ronald Weasley, after some of the things you've done with that girl this summer, you better plan on marrying her. Expecially if she turns up pregnant. Now, how are you Harry dear. You look very nice. Alright everybody, through the platform we go. Go go, hurry now. You've got hardly any time atoll," she said, hardly pausing even to breathe. She hugged each of them and pushed them towards the barrier before turning and heading for a secluded spot so she could apparate away.

As soon as they were on the train Harry turned a gaze on his friends that clearly said, "Explain now!!!"
Hermione blushed bright red. "We, um, decided to go out, then we, uh, took it to the next level."
"How come you didn't tell me you started going out?" Harry asked, not caring about the second part. Their sex life didn't involve him.
"We did, we sent you letter after letter, and you never responded," Ron replied, shocked.
"I never recieved any letters," Harry said, confused, "I wonder why."
"Because I didn't feel like letting you," rang out the cold voice of our fave Slytherin. He was leaning, arms crossed, against the doorway.
The trio looked up, startled.
"What the hell do you mean by that Malfoy?" snarled Ron.
Malfoy smirked, "That you will have to figure out by yourself," he responded, before walking away. The trio looked on in confusion.
"I hate that bastard," growled Harry.
Hermione's eyes flashed and her fists clenched. "I wish he would just disappear. I don't see how anyone could have spawned a demon like Malfoy. I just feel like cursing him."
Ron, surprisingly, was the one who calmed them down, "Strange, he didn't do anything. He didn't even insult us. All he said was something about not letting Harry and then he left. He didn't even have his goons with him."
"That is strange," Harry said, "I wonder what he's up to."

The rest of the train ride passed quickly. So did the welcoming feast. Their new professor was intoduced, a young woman with waist lenghth dark brown hair, pale skin, dark velvety green eyes and a slim petite build. She was really pretty, and young, at 21. The absense of Snape was also greatly noticed.
