Do you ever think 'why the hell am I doing this?' because those're my thoughts about this.
This is supposed to be a re-write of Gundam SEED, to make things… less shit? More shit? I don't even know.
Have fuuuuuun~
We open on a group of space pods, descending from space colonies to the Earth's surface. Inside each pod is four mobile suits; mobile, humanoid robots piloted by humans to achieve battlefield supremacy. The mission of these brave pilots? Fucking fly into the Earth. Or just land, and mess shit up for the people living there.
'This'll show those scum that still cling to the earth's surface!' screams the pilot of one mobile suit, presumably hopped up on terrible space booze and the finest adrenaline that knowing you're about to die to prove your government has a rock hard cock can provide.
The other pilots inside this giant pod cling to their religious symbols; and to photos of their family.
'FOR ZAAAAAAAAFT' they scream as one, as they plummet into the earth at Mach 1.
And… May God protect us all, they think.
The Year: 70, on the Cosmic Era calendar. Tensions have been rising between the Earth, and the ZAFT organisation, who control the space colonies known as Plants.
Due to the (nuclear!) tragedy that befell the Valentine Colony, later known as the Bloody Valentine Incident, these tensions erupted into a full-fledged war.
Despite the lack of weapons more sophisticated than missiles and mounted machine guns, the Earth forces were sure of their victory. However, 11 months on, there is still not an end in sight for this conflict.
Gundam SEED: Re…Birth? Re-Write? Bloody hell, I don't know.
(Play your favourite terrible and samey J-Pop song here, because this is where the opening theme goes.)
Chapter One: A False Peace.
Our tale begins on the space colony Heliopolis. Inside, a robot bird flies around for… seemingly no reason. Seriously. What a waste of metal this thing is. Is there even a breeze inside a space colony? I wouldn't imagine so, since it's basically a spinning submarine in space.
ANYWAY, this bird, imaginatively named Birdy, is flying to return to it's owner, who is currently typing at his laptop.
With a news report on the current atrocities in ever-wartorn Africa (food shortages due to the ongoing conflict in the area, 1.2 million lives in immediate danger) we see our protagonist.
With brown hair that falls past his eyes, and purple eyes, he types.
hi there! my name's Kira Yamato! im 16 and currently studying robotics at university… i know that's a bit young, but… if I was autistic, robotics would be my special interest! im not autistic, but one of my friends is, so it's all cool LOL!
