BlazBlue Twin Reapers Challenge
Hello, ladies and gentlemen, it is I, KnightSpark. Now, as many of you are already aware, Central Fiction has ended, along with Ragna's story for the remainder of BB series as a whole. But, I've noticed that there are some authors out there that have changed that to an extent. You know who you are, no need to draw attention to yourself.
That is why I was thinking about something. Now, some of you may remember that in my fanfic, Chaotic Harem, that my inspiration for a fanfic featuring fem!Ragna was from pictures of Alpha-01, which was basically a Murakumo variant of Ragna that we may or may not see in the distant future. Still hoping on it, though.
But returning to my original point, I have thought of something while writing it. I thought, "what if Ragna had a twin sister that had his personality, but she was more lowkey about it?" And that's when it hit me. I could create a challenge where writers could create a fanfic where fem!Ragna was actually Ragna's sister.
To start things off, I would like to think that Nine would teach fem!Ragna some magic, just like Jubei taught Ragna how to fight. Keep in mind, this will be an AU where Nine managed to prevent Terumi's murder attempt, but most of her powers have been weakened from the process, so she'll spend more time teaching the female twin how to use magic.
Relationships will a central part of the story, too. Ragna tends to be distant towards those around him, but the twin will want to socialize and often forces her brother to open up more often.
Also, I would like to add that the twins will occasionally lock horns with each other. Ragna is the typical hothead with the "hit first, ask questions later" mindset, but his twin will be the opposite, always suggesting an alternative way of handling things.
In short, the twins have a Red Oni-Blue Oni thing going on, for those who are familiar with TV Tropes.
Anyway, how you wish to execute this is entirely up to you. You can name Ragna's twin whatever you want, just as long as it's cool like his. You can also change her hairstyle, clothing and even how she uses magic in battle.
Am I missing something? Oh yeah, the scene with the burning church. In this AU, where Ragna loses his arm, the twin will become blinded by the fire since she was in there with Jin and Saya. Afterwards, she gains some magic that allows her to see the mana in the world. Of course, she will throw some snide remarks every now and then.
So there you have it. That's the challenge I put up for you fine people. Have fun with it.
