AN: Hello peoples! So, stupid 'ol Iowa weather, we got to school during whiteout conditions and ten minutes after the bell rang we were released for the day! Anyway, I have a lot of free time on my hands so I wrote up this quick little oneshot. Math class is a wonderful plot bunny breeding ground.

Allen stood, panting, above the body of the boy. Lenalee rushed past him and knelt, cradling the dead boy's head. She looked up at Allen, angry tears flowing down her face.
"Why the hell would you do that? What is wrong with you? He was just a boy, Allen!"
Allen shook his head kindly, but firmly. "No, he wasn't. That boy was not human. He was an akuma." Lenalee frowned, deep in thought.
"But if he was an akuma, shouldn't he have disappeared by now?"
Right on cue, the boy's body began to shake violently in Lenalee's arms. She dropped it and stook, backing away slowly. Just as she reached Allen's side, his body stilled, then exploded.
Allen activated his Crown Clown and wrapped the cloth around Lenalee, all in a second. He closed his eyes as the heat enveloped him, stealing away the oxygen from the air around him. She stifled a shout, sparing Lenalee from joining him in his pain.
As quickly as they had come, the flames receded. Allen gasped in the stale air and fell over. Crown Clown deactivated, loosening around Lenalee. She gently stepped out of the coils of white and ran to Allen's prone form. She arrived just as the cowl and mask were fading away. She rolled him onto his back and gasped, hand hovering over her mouth.
Allen's clothes were nearly burned through. Only a few meager scraps remained. His torso had the worst damage; it was bloody and scorched, welts rising around the edges. The remaining skin was blackened and charred. His arms were bloody, and his left hand had lost its black shimmer.
Lenalee kneeled onto the ground and pulled Allen's head onto her lap. She gingerly stroked the parts of his face that weren't singed too badly. Allen breathed heavily, his body shuddering with each inhalation.
Lenalee hunched over his body, trying her best to stop the bleeding. She ripped off the hems of her dress and folded them expertly into bandages. She pressed them onto the largest burn- right over Allen's stomach. He groaned and lurched, his eyes fluttering.
Allen forced himself to focus through the pain and look at Lenalee. He felt a pang, different than the burns, at her tear-streaked face. He opened his mouth to speak, but gritted them again.
"Please, Allen, you can't die! Not now! Not when you have so much to live for!"
And she was right. Allen couldn't just leave so many things unsaid and undone. So many things to say to Kanda, so many missions to complete, so many people to protect! Allen couldn't bear the thought of leaving so many things as they were.
Allen chuckled throatily. "You expect something like this to keep me down for long? You've got another thing coming. I'll be back on my feet in no time flat." He stopped speaking to cough violently. As he took his hand from his mouth he stopped.
Lenalee gasped at the blood on Allen's hand as it fell limply to the ground.
AN: There is absolutely no way I'm going to make this a legit story, I'm not creative enough. Anyway, tell me what you though with that bit button below!
