Just a quick one-shot that came to mind… yes school is this boring… If this goes through my head at school, I seriously worry for my fellow Fanfiction writers when they're bored and thinking at school. ;) Naw, just kidding, I love you all.

Ghost is NOT wearing a mask.

Gary shivered as he wrapped the blankets around himself tighter, goosebumps riddled his body painfully. Of all the countries he'd been to, Russia was by the far the fuckin worst. Of course Russia was they're main objective about 90 percent of the time, so he found himself freezing his ass of more often than he would've preferred. His eye's opened into the darkness to glare at the miserable room that he was sharing with Ghost, which, lucky for them, didn't have heating. He snuggled his head farther under his blanket with just his eyes poking out, glancing out the small window which moonlight was filtering through. His eyes settled on Ghost sleeping across the room and narrowed them in jealousy as he watched Ghost shift in his sleep, looking as content as ever.

"Of course the cold wouldn't bother him. Lucky bastard." Gary thought grumpily.

He groaned as another wave of shivers attacked his body, sending him into a fit of sneezes. He curled up tighter into the fetal position, his ears ringing as the silence of the snowy night enveloped him, only to be interrupted by the raucous snore of MacTavish in the room next to him. He laughed breathily at the thought of Archer and Toad having to deal with that. Everyone knew MacTavish snored the loudest. Lucky for him, Ghost was as silent as... well… a ghost. Glancing back at Ghost he couldn't help but ponder a thought that popped into his mind.

"I'm sure he wouldn't mind. He can't be THAT warm himself. It benefits both of us…" Nodding to him-self as if to finalize his decision, Gary slowly pulled the covers off of himself and quietly hopped over to where Ghost was sleeping on a plain twin sized mattress. Even though he had 4 pairs of socks on, the dirt floor was still ice cold. When he was standing hunched over Ghost all he could do was shift from foot to foot as he froze his ass off, his mind now filled with doubts.

"Oh fuck it. I'm to God damn fucking cold."

He slowly crouched down with both knees bent on either side of his body so his face was in-front of Ghost's, then he gently poked the man in the shoulder. When Ghost didn't respond he poked harder. In a quiet whisper he muttered, "Ghost… pssst… Ghost! Wake up." When Ghost's eyes popped open the man mumbled.

"What? We under attack?" When the man started to get up Gary pushed him back down into the mattress. Ghost only looked up at him with confusion written all over his face. Gary smiled sheepishly.

"I'm… um… cold." As if on cue he promptly sneezed, losing his balance and falling onto his ass.

Ghost just stared at him for a moment, a blank look on his face, when suddenly what Gary was implying hit him. He rolled his eyes.

"Oh. Well come on. And make it fast, it's bloody cold." Ghost said impatiently as he lifted the thin blanket. Gary nodded brusquely and flung himself onto the mattress and immediately felt the blanket fall over his shoulders, followed by an arm that wrapped around him. Gary sighed contently before snuggling his head into Ghost's shoulder before he froze.

"Thanks."

He felt Ghost nod slightly. "No problem mate."

There was silence between them for a moment before Gary spoke again, a shy tone to his voice.

"Don't tell anyone?"

Ghost sighed, "Aye."

Yes. Short. I know. Don't complain; just be happy I got it up. Anyway, what do you think? Should I write more one-shots like this? If you liked this, check out my other ones.
