A/N: What really happened between Richard and Emmet that Christmas episode when they were drunk.
"Richard have a drink." Emmet said pouring cherry into a glass.
"Just a little one." Richard said.
"How about a very large one. You need it for putting up with Hyacinth." Emmet said. "Honestly Richard I don't know how you can stand it."
"It's not that bad." Richard said drinking it in one gulp.
"Obviously." Pouring Richard some more. "Trust me Richard you deserve to have a nice day."
Later they were singing drunk at the piano.
"IT GLOWS." Richard sang in a deep voice.
"Richard. Hyacinth is waiting for you to drive her." Elizabeth said.
"I can't drive." Richard slurred.
"All you have to do is listen!" Emmet said and they started laughing.
"Honestly Richard I've never seen you like this." Elizabeth said.
"I like it." Richard said.
"Take off your shoes Richard!" Emmet said in Hyacinth's voice.
"Emmet so lovely to see you!" Richard said in Hyacinth's voice.
"Walk straight Richard!" Emmet said in Hyacinth's voice.
"Onslow can you park on the other street?" Richard said in Hyacinths voice.
"Open the car door Richard. Honesly where are your manners." Emmet said in Hyacinths voice.
Ellizabeth was smiling trying not to laugh. It was funny seeing the to of them like that.
"I think you two have had enough." She said pulling the bottle away from Emmet.
"Go ahead take it. It's empty." Emmet burped.
"I wish I had my video camera." Elizabeth said.
"And Hyacinth wonders why people call her bucket." Emmet said laughing.
"I'm in such a good mood. I don't know why." Richard said.
"Because Hyacinth's not here!" Emmet said and they were laughing.
"Good Lord." Elizabeth said.
"You need a drink." Richard said pouring her a cup of another cherry.
"No I couldn't possibly." She said.
"Come on Elizabeth. It's Christmas. And we all got our present. No Hyacinth!" Emmet said.
"Maybe just a little." She said.
"Don't sit there Elizabeth!" Elizabeth said in Hyacinth's voice laughing.
"This is the best Christmas ever!" Emmet said laughing along.
"Richard!" Hyacinth's voice said from the door.
"Good impression Emmet. You sound just like her." Elizabeth said.
"It wasn't me." Emmet said.
They all froze.
"Richard! Open this door!" Hyacinth yelled.
"Hide!" Richard said as they all ducked.
"Is the door locked?" Elizabeth asked.
"I think so." Emmet said. "I always double check."
They all started laughing.
