A/N: A little oneshot for in-between writing the chapters of my multi-chap fic! Enjoy :) And review! Thanks xx

Have you ever felt like your whole world has come crashing down around you? Do you know how it feels to have someone utter words that you never thought would feel so much to you? How it takes your breath away and makes you feel like you're drowning in non-existent waters?

How it makes you feel so real, so vivid. So alive.

The way your breath catches as he strides up to you and pulls you away from the crowds, a steely expression in his eyes.

The way he takes you down by the lake and turns around to face you, pain, beautiful pain, shouting out at you from his eyes.

The way he paces back in forth as you stand in confused silence. But inside, you know what's coming. You've known it for a long time.

Oh how your stomach flips and dances as he takes your cold hand in his. There's warmth that spreads through your body and dances at your wrists, at your fingertips, in your head, in your eyes.

You stand, mouth slightly agape as he stares intently at you, still not saying anything.

The only thing that breaks the silence is the wind, cutting through your hair, cutting through the leaves in trees, making them rustle ever so slightly.

The warm breeze makes your cheeks red; it makes your palms sweat. But it isn't just the warm breeze doing that, is it?

No. It's him.

The way he looks at you; messy mop of hair swaying in the breeze, eyes, wonderful hazel eyes, staring at you pleadingly, daring you to break the serene silence.

But something has to give, it just has to. So you clear your throat softly and at once, as if by your own will, everything stops. The breeze stops blowing as you slip your hand out of his gently. The look in his eyes is heartbreaking. It's scared. It is worried.

So you lower your gaze and tuck your hair behind your ear.

Waiting.

All you are doing is waiting for him to say what he has dragged you here to say. You know it, he knows it. He knows you know it.

But he tortures you a little longer. He is hesitant, slow, as if he is about to press a button which will ultimately let off a nuclear bomb.

But it is like a bomb when he does speak. The words he says, they hit you full force in the chest, like a hex, hurling you away, taking your breath away.

Even though you knew, nothing could prepare you for this.

He says his part, three small words that weighed the world. And now it's your turn.

But what do you say? That you feel the same? Because you do. You really, really, do. But at that moment, your breathing is hitched; your world has just come crashing down in front of you. You are deaf. You are blind. You are dumb.

So you stand there, mouth parted and emerald green eyes wide. Wide with shock, recognition and most of all, love.

He knows it. You know he knows it. But yet you still say nothing.

He has very little patience, and you sense it in his eyes. So you make a hasty decision and open your mouth to say something.

But you're too late, he has given up waiting and now his mouth is on yours and you are kissing for dear life. All the power, all the serenity, all the love captured only moments before is robbed by that kiss.

You feel it, you both do. You feel it in your whole person; it warms you from head to toe. It knocks you over. It is raw, it is vibrant, and it is brilliant.

When you part, you don't really need to say those three words back. Because he knows it, he can see it in your eyes and he felt it through that kiss. It is reflected in his own eyes.

I know you love me. And I love you all the more for it.
