The Tragedy of Two Torn Souls
Cold blade slices easily through soft flesh of two cursed children of God.
Why'd I do it?Pure reflex?
The girl gasps out in pain as the blade cuts through her.
I still don't understand.What is my reason?I knew that the blade would still make it through...
They fall to the floor blood soaking eachother.A pure angel.A traitor.Side by side at the end.
Maybe was it because of my past?The feelings I once had for her?Before my life changed forever?
He looked into her sparkling pearl eyes pain and regret filled his own as he coughed up blood and gritted his teeth from the pain.
Could it be...that I still harbour these feelings?As I gaze into her eyes...what are you thinking?Are you already gone?
He gazed at her as the people behind them screamed in agony.As if trying to reach them.
Can you still feel me?My touch as I reach for you in my last moments?My cold hand as I try to carress your cheek?
He placed his hand on her cheek.Silent unshed tears freely flowing as his life is slowly drained in death.
Can you still hear it?The screams of agony of my used to be friends?Of the people you loved and cared for?My silent cries?
He felt the blade in them slowly slip out.Probaly the work of his once best friend that he pushed away for power.
Can you still taste it?My dried up tears that I haven't shed since that fateful day where I almost died portecting another?As they flow down your my face to yours?
He moved closer to her.Holding her in his last moments.Trying to at least die happy.

He felt himself grow weaker as his once master laughed and the echoing footsteps of the snake fading into the distance.

I almost cried writing this.I was litsening to Sadness and Sorrow from the Naruto soundtrack.Perhaps that will force you to cry.Please R&R while I wonder why I ever wrote this.It's so sad!By the way Sasuke does cry after the massacare.When he was protecting Naruto from Haku in Episode 16.If you look closely, right before he falls in his right eye a tear slides down his face.So sad.-sobs-
