Sakura Li was glaring at the police sitting in front of her. She knew what she did, but she wasn't going to admit what she did was wrong. Yes, she killed the man, but the man was gunning for the woman that he had kidnapped. "Detective Li, you do realize what you have done, don't you?" The man asked. Sakura was handcuffed to the table and she looked away from the man. I won't tell you anything. You greedy bastards just want to put me in jail. She thought, bitterly.
"If you won't talk to me, I'll find your dear little cousin and introduce myself to her." The man threatened. Sakura glared at him.
"You dirty cop. She's innocent!" She screamed out. The cop smirked at Sakura's violent reaction. He wanted to see how she would react and her husband was correct. She was violent towards anyone who threatened her family and friends.
"You're not." The dirty cop tells Sakura.
"I demand to see our boss." Sakura sneered at the man.
"Your request is-"
"Accepted." The boss woman says, gazing at her employee. "Leave." She spoke coldly.
"You won't get away from your crime, you heartless bitch!" The man shouted at Sakura. Sakura just smirked at the man. When he finally left, the woman stared at Sakura.
"Good afternoon, Mrs. Li." She greeted the woman nicely.
"Hello." Sakura spoke with a warning tone.
"Don't worry, I'm not like him. He's an idiot." The woman tells Sakura.
"I didn't do it on purpose. He threatened his hostage and I defended her." Sakura tells her story to her boss.
"Ah, I'm not here for that. I'm here for another reason." The lady tells Sakura. Sakura looked at the woman in confusion.
"What reason would that be?" She questioned. She was very distrustful. She didn't want to be sold out.
"You're distrustful. Good. I need you to do a favor for me, actually it's a job only the cruel can do." The lady tells Sakura.
"Boss, forgive me, but what the hell, lady?" Sakura shouted. The woman smirked at Sakura.
"Temper, temper. Tell me, Mrs. Li, did you enjoy killing the man?" Boss asked.
"I did." Sakura wasn't going to lie to her important people.
"This job is a dirty job and I need someone who wouldn't mind getting bloody." Boss tells Sakura. Sakura recognized the symbolism. Someone who wouldn't mind the blood getting on them is the type of person she needs. Why do I feel the need to say 'yes'. She thought. "You know you want to accept. Accept and your crimes will go away." Boss tells Sakura.
"I've only committed one crime." Sakura says, arching her eyebrows.
"I'm sure you remember the one woman you gutted to pieces." Boss reminds Sakura. Sakura forgot all about that. The vile woman threatened to kill her Syaoran, a chef who wasn't famous yet. All of Syaoran's past personality seems to have passed on to Sakura and Sakura passed her past personality to her sweet husband. Fuck! I thought no one knew about that! She thought.
"I almost didn't know it was you, until your dear sweet Tomoyo told me where you were." Boss tells Sakura. At Sakura's heated glare, she continued. "No one forced her nor did anyone touch her. I have made sure of it." Boss swore to Sakura. She leaned closer towards Sakura. "You know, she was worried about you." She tells the brown haired woman.
"Really?" Sakura asked, not really surprised. From her tone, you would think that she was annoyed, but Boss knew Sakura better than that. Sakura was just a little overprotective of her cousin, but that was the result of Tomoyo getting accosted in the past. Sakura shook her head to clear her thoughts.
"Do you accept the job?" Boss asked. Sakura looked at the woman with a cold look.
"Who's the person I need to kill?" Sakura demanded.
"The dirty cop that just left a few minutes ago." Boss says, smiling evilly.
"No one won't miss him?" She questioned.
"Like you've ever cared about that." Boss tells Sakura, passing her the man's file. As she read it, she got more blood thirsty.
"This guy is scum. He's not even trash. He's scum." Sakura tells Boss.
"And, what you do with scum?" She questioned.
"I gut scum." Sakura knew she accepted when she said that and kept the file. Boss smiled at her.
"I want him gone as soon as possible." Boss ordered.
"Yes ma'am." Sakura says, intending on catching the man when it's dark in the night.
Syaoran was frying fish for dinner. Tomoyo was helping with the fries. "Tou-chan!" Syaoran's 2 year old son was hugging his father's leg.
"Woah! Oi, Shuang, if your mother caught you doing this, she's gonna get mad." Syaoran lightly scolds his son.
"Kaa-chan not mad!" The little boy was cheerful. Tomoyo giggled at the father and son. She always wanted a little Gray and Meredy. Rukia was 5 years old. She was the oldest child and daughter of the newest Li clan. Rukia had her father's looks, but her mother's cold personality. Shuang was the direct opposite, having his mother's look and Syaoran's sweet personality.
"Shall I take him off your hands, Tou-chan?" She asked. Her father shook his head and she was picked up by Tomoyo. Seeing this, Syaoran froze.
"Hey, auntie! Let me stay up here with you!" Rukia was cheerful with Tomoyo, it seems. Syaoran was grateful for that. Rukia loves hanging out with Tomoyo.
"Auntie, want to watch tv with me?" Rukia asked. Tomoyo looked at Syaoran, who simply smiled at her.
"Go ahead. I can finish the fries." Syaoran answered Tomoyo's unspoken question.
"Thank you. Want to you want to watch, Rukia?" Tomoyo asked.
"Let's watch The Conjuring." Rukia answered, making Tomoyo stare at her.
"My favorite movie?" She questioned.
"Yes!" Rukia says, happily. Tomoyo eyed the little girl with wide eyes.
"Okay." She answered with a little uncertainty in her voice.
When they got 14 minutes into the movie, Sakura busted through the house. "Good evening, my cute family." Sakura greeted while waving around a gun. Tomoyo and Rukia just shook their heads at the woman while Shuang tried to grab unto his mother's free hand after she picked him up.
"Good evening!" Everyone greeted her. Syaoran gave Shuang to Rukia and they went to their room.
"What sentence did you get?" He asked Sakura. Sakura smirks at him.
"None. I got off scott free." Sakura tells him, promising to tell him later about the whole conversation. Tomoyo was shocked at this.
"Scott free?" She asked with a worried tone. Sakura noticed that Tomoyo was worried.
"Don't be so worried. It's fine. Everything's fine." Sakura tells Tomoyo.
