To You My Dear

Hear me whisper softly, my sweet.

Words dance lightly

Quiet and clear.

Sonnets spoken through the heart's

Erratic beat,

Come as naturally as breathing

As calm takes over,

And the sputtering of your heart

Slows.

Shhhh.

Listen.

Do you hear that?

It's the beat of my heart

Slowly swaying in time,

With your's.

Pumping a steady rhythem,

That sends my love

To you.
