A/N: So this should have been written and posted awhile ago but it came to me when I saw the commercials for Devil's Triad where Gibbs faceplants onto his couch. So yeah here's the fluff. Enjoy!

Ex-Wife Problems

oOoOoOo

Sammy unlocked the door and led the way into the house as an obviously mentally and possibly physically exhausted Gibbs followed behind her. She closed the door after he was in and slipper her shoes off before settling on the couch. Gibbs followed suit but instead of sitting on the couch he lowered himself on to the floor in front of Sammy. She didn't say anything as she helped ease his blazer off his shoulders before starting to massage his neck and work her way over his shoulders, hoping to work out some of the tension his ex-wife had caused to build there.

"How does she always manage to show up in the middle of trouble?" Gibbs grumbled, leaning forward to give Sammy better access.

"From the sounds of it it's a gift she has," Sammy said softly, "But she's not here now so why don't you take this opportunity to relax a little."

"How does Diane always seem to get under my skin?" Gibbs mumbled as he rubbed his hands over his face, "Stephanie and Rebecca never seem to do this to me."

"She seems kinda difficult," Sammy said, hoping that letting Gibbs rant would help him relax.

"That's an understatement," Gibbs said with a sigh, "The last time she showed up everyone was ready to snap for a week. Fornell wasn't any better either."

"Tony was telling me about that," Sammy said, smiling slightly as she felt Gibbs start to relax under her hands, "Apparently she's a little abrasive."

"That's one way to put it," Gibbs said around a yawn.

"Well at least she's gone now and hopefully it'll be awhile before she's back," Sammy suggested hopefully, "Or she won't come back at all."

"I hope so," Gibbs said, leaning forward a little more and resting his elbows on his knees.

"I think it's time for bed," Sammy said, watching Gibbs fade faster by the minute.

"Kay," Gibbs hummed gruffly.

Sammy stood up and held a hand out to Gibbs. She pulled him to his feet when he took it and they headed up stairs. Gibbs changed quickly before flopping onto the bed with a sigh. Sammy changed then hit the lights and crawled onto the bed beside him. She turned the bedside lamp on then started running her fingers through Gibbs' hair. He closed his eyes and scooted a little closer so he could press his face into Sammy's side.

"Do you need to get anything else out or are you ready to go to sleep?" Sammy asked softly.

"Just sleep," Gibbs mumbled into Sammy's side.

"Ok scoot over," Sammy said, waiting for him to move so she could pull the covers over him.

She slid under the other side before turning off the lamp and settling back on the pillows. Gibbs repositioned himself with his head on her chest. Sammy started up running her fingers through his hair again. Sammy was happy when it didn't take long for Gibbs to settle in and his breathing to even out as he started to snore. She leaned down to plant a kiss on his forehead before slowly letting herself drift off.
