I was cold. Although that was a bit of an understatement, but there was no other way to describe it without sounding as if I was exaggerating. But cold none the less. I trudged through the ankle deep snow, a raven shaped energy mass covering my back protecting me from the freezing sleet. I hugged myself, rubbing my arms for warmth. I wasn't prepared for this in my thin black t-shirt and jeans. My energy faltered slightly. It was expected: I hadn't had food for days. I had been wandering through the woods, lost. It figures: when I had the chance to turn back I didn't. Another stupid mistake by yours truly. But that's my life in a nutshell: stupid decisions, undetermined, and running away.

I trembled as a strong wind knocked me on my butt. I sat there, my energy low and my energy mass dissipating. I sighed, inhaling icy air that burned my lungs and throat. I was giving up. I stretched my legs out, feeling the cold snow under them. "Who are you?" I looked up to see a silver headed male standing before me in a navy blue uniform and a pale yellow scarf, carrying grocery bags. He kicked my shoe when I didn't answer, "Hey. Who are you?"

"What does it matter?"

"Because you're sitting in the middle of nowhere in a potential blizzard. I'm sure you're cold."

"That doesn't answer my question."

A short brunette stamped through the bushes out of breath, "Zero! Where did you run off to so fast? You know my short legs won't let me go fast!" He stepped sideways to look at her. "Not my fault."

"You're so- Hey. Who's that?" She pointed at me, a grocery bag hanging from the wrist of her thick furred overcoat. "Again, what does it matter?" Zero rolled his eyes, "Shut up! It does matter!" I glared at the brunette, "No it doesn't. I'd rather sit here and freeze to death then face the situation at hand. Now leave me alone." I was getting out of control. I took a deep breath to calm myself, which worked. I placed a frozen piece of my ink colored hair behind my ear, closing my gold rimmed green eyes.

"Please. Just go away. I'm not in the mood and I'm tired. I'm not moving." A piece of hail the seize of a golf ball knocked the top of my head. I cursed the sky. "How tired are you?" I glared at the brunette, "Enough to not move." The brunette pulled at the shoulder of the silver headed male and whispered something in his ear. "Do I have to?"

"You know how disappointed Chairman will be. He'll never shut up about it." He handed her the bags he carried and popped his knuckles. I glared at them, my anger rising in the slightest. "Don't. You. Dare." A nearby branch broke off of a tree in a blackish blue glow. It caught me off guard. As I turned my head to find whatever I had damaged, I was suddenly scooped up and thrown over the shoulder of the silver headed male.

"What the heck?!" I thrashed and kicked, but his hands held my legs tightly. Rocks from the ground rose and hit him in the head. "Would you stop throwing things at me?!" He turned to glare at me. I showed his my hands, palms facing him. "I don't even have anything!" Meanwhile, I used my energy to throw another rock at him. He growled. I crossed my arms over my chest. "Where are we going?" Maybe I could bug him to death. "Cross Academy."

"When will we get there?"

"Soon."

"When's soon?"

"In a minute."

"Are we there yet?"

"No."

"Are we there yet?"

"No! Shut up!"

"Are we there yet?"

"I SAID SHUT UP!"

"Are we there now?"

"Yuki! Give me that duct tape!"

"Shut up Zero. You can't do that."

"Why not?! Her mouth is bugging me!"

"Are we there yet?"

"UGH!" I smirked. This is fun.
