Prologue
It all started off when two dragons created by Master Hand and Crazy Hand suddenly started war between each other. The two dragons were meant to be their successors if something were to ever happen to the two and lead to their demise. They were known as the Red and Blue Dragons and they watched over the lands of the World of Trophies while Master Hand and Crazy Hand watched from faraway.
However conflict between the two dragons made it impossible for them to agree on anything. War spread across the World of Trophies and no one was safe during their battles. They had inherited the traits of Master Hand, to protect the people while in battles, but also to destroy whatever got in the way from Crazy Hand. They had so much power in their grasp that they could do anything they desire, especially kill off their creators.
After years and years of battling, the two dragons, after destroying so much land finally came to a stop and ended. They glanced at what damages they caused to the world and were ashamed of themselves. With the last of their power left in their body they decided that they needed to leave the World of Trophies to no longer become a burden to the people of the land.
Before they departed they left behind an item that would summon them to the world if they were needed if darkness ever entered the world. It would be known as the Seal of Dragons and whenever it summoned them its power would vanish for a certain amount of time but it could be for weeks, years, or even centuries before it ever returns.
Their souls left their body and departed for a planet called Earth where their souls would fuse with two human girls in order for them to have their powers sealed away and the memories erased. They would live normal lives without knowing who they were originally.
The bodies of the dragons would turn to stone and become the Shrine of Dragons where people go to pray (because they were viewed as Gods) and is where the seal is placed and watched under the care of shrine caretakers. The dragons also created a race of people who would watch over the seal known as the Dragonia. Peace would enter the land for thousands of years and no one dared to steal the seal and summon the dragons back.

However, it didn't take long for darkness to enter the world like the dragons feared. Due to the war from the dragons it caused the hearts of people to become corrupted, creating beings of darkness, monsters that attacked innocent people or anything that's in their path. For food, pleasure of killing, or just to cause death wherever it was.
It's up to the heroes of the world to stop the darkness from taking over the World of Trophies, no matter what risks they must take, they need to stop them.
Their story starts now.
HELLO! I have returned! This is actually a remake of a story I posted here back in 2014 and holy god I am happy to be writing it again after so long! This is actually almost the same story just with a lot more detail but I put more story into it and more backstories for everyone! This is a retelling of Subspace Emissary but with more of a purpose to it! I hope you all will enjoy the making of this! I'm happy to be able to start to work on this after 3 months of planning it! I will also leave info at the end of chapters to hopefully help explain more of the story!
