Another Perfect Day in Atlantis
Sheppard
"You called me, McKay?" I called out as I entered his lab.
"Yes, I did Sheppard. I need your ATA gene."
"Okay. What do I do?"
"Touch that console." He pointed to a machine that stood in the middle of the room.
"What is it?" I asked him as I looked at the machine.
McKay let out a sigh, "If I knew, then I would not be asking you to touch it, now would I?"
I put up my hands, 'Fair point. Where do I touch it?"
"Touch the last panel on the top, far right."
"Okay."
I walked up to the machine and laid my hand on the panel McKay had pointed out to me and the panel started to glow a green color.
"McKay, should it be doing that?"
"I do not know. You should get away from it."
I removed my hand but the panel continued to glow.
"McKay…" was all I said when a light shot out of the machine and hits me in my chest.
Weir
I was near McKay's lab when I heard shouting. I ran the rest of the way and just as I am coming up to the door, McKay runs out of his lab as if a Wraith was after him, a few seconds later a small animal comes tearing out and goes after McKay. I watch them disappear down the hall and I then poked my head into McKay's lab and sees Zelenka on a chair and a bundle of clothes on the floor.
"What happened here?"
The shaking scientist climbs down off the chair and looks at me.
"What happened? Let's see, McKay turned the Colonel into a ferret and he starts to chase McKay around the room that is what happened!"
"What! Sheppard is that small animal I seen chasing Rodney."
"Yes."
My radio came to life, "Weir! Come and get your crazy CO away from me! I am in the mess hall on a table! Help me please!"
I sighed and took off for the mess hall.
"Another perfect day in Atlantis." I muttered under my breath.
