Daddy! Daddy!"
Her voice rang like a tiny thrush in the spring. She looked up at the 7 foot monster with absolute love and adoration on her face. "Were you even listening to me, Daddy?" she pouted at her father's failed attempt to keep up with her ramblings of dresses and shoes.
"Of course, little Rabbit. You were talking about Orton's obsession with baby oil." Kane smiled as his little angel giggled and her best friend glared.
"No!" she giggled and poked his cheek. "I was talking about getting this dress for the party Raina is throwing."
He looked at the screen of the phone to see the dress to which he firmly shook his head. "Not even if I was dead would you walk out in public with that on. My ghost would drag you into the house and ground you if you even stuck a toe out the door." he said seriously.
Her jaw dropped at her father's remark and her best friend's reaction. "Shut up, Randy!" she huffed as she shoved him. "That's not funny!" She pouted while earning more laughter from the Viper.
Randy finished laughing and patted her head. "Later, Pikachu. I gotta go see my own little munchkin." he said as he got up and headed towards his bus to go see his daughter. "Bye, Meowth!" She chimed and giggled. She turned and faced her father who was staring at his phone with a faint smile. "Whatcha looking at?" She asked as she peered over at his screen to see her 1 month old self in her father's arms.
"My baby girl a few weeks after she was born," he sniffled. "Not much of a baby now." He held his palm on her cheek and teared up. " You're a big girl now, little Rabbit. You don't need me for hardly anything anymore," he smiled sadly.
"Please don't cry, Daddy," she said as she hugged him tightly. "I'll always be your baby and I'll always need you. You're my Daddy and I will love you forever and ever." He smiled and hugged his angel. "I love you too, little rabbit."
