A/N: Nalu modern AU. Dorky fluff (sort of…it's mostly dorkiness). I haven't written in a long time anon-san, so I hope this is good enough for you. I chose to do Nalu since I haven't read the Mortal Instruments series. Thank you so much for sending me the prompt and for helping me break my writer's block. :) I hope you like it! (This was a prompt given to me on my tumblr)

Disclaimer: I don't own Fairy Tail or the characters. I also do not own Dragonheart or Cinderella. Both are great movies though! :)

"Natsu. What are you doing with those?"

Natsu grinned, "The tricycles?"

The blonde nodded as she looked at him questioningly.

"We're gonna have a race!" He exclaimed, raising his arms in the air.

Lucy grimaced. She could see this ending badly. There was no way she was getting on that thing and racing with Natsu. Especially with Natsu. He was a five letter name for trouble.

She crossed her arms over her chest and pouted, "Natsu. I'm not racing with you."

Natsu laughed, "Of course you are!"

Lucy glared at him, "No. You can't make me!"

"You'll come around," Natsu replied with certainty, casually throwing his arms behind his head.

"I'm not racing!" Lucy retorted as she stepped closer to the pink haired man.

"Yes, you are!" Natsu said mimicking her actions.

The two college students froze realizing how close they were. If she closed the space a little more-

Natsu gulped, breaking Lucy out of her stupor. Said woman blushed and stepped backwards, regaining her ability to breathe.

"I still won't go."

Natsu exhaled, a pink painted on his cheeks, though it must have been a trick of light. He smirked, "See, I thought you would say that, which is why I am prepared!"

Lucy looked at her best friend of five years, "Prepared?"

"Yeah. We're racing for the chance of winning something."

"What's this something?" Lucy skeptically asked.

"Whoever wins the tricycle race gets to pick what movie we watch on Netflix!"

Lucy blanched, "That's what we're racing for?"

The young man happily nodded.

"Alright. Count me in!" Lucy announced pumping her fist in the air, "You got yourself a deal, buddy!"

Natsu grinned triumphantly.

"So, where's the finish line?" Lucy asked.

Natsu put his hand under his chin, "Hm… I wonder… Oh! Got it!" Snapping his fingers and turning to Lucy, he continued, "Old man Makarov's garbage can is our goal."

"Alright, you're on."

The two mounted their majestic steeds-er tricycles.

Natsu looked over to Lucy, "Prepare to get your butt kicked, Heartfillia. We're watching Dragonheart tonight."

Lucy smirked, "I wouldn't bet too much on that, Dragneel."

The pink haired man just laughed before saying, "On your mark, get set, GO!"

As Natsu pushed off the sidewalk for momentum, Lucy swiftly kicked his trike over. Natsu tumbled on her neighbor's grass as she sped away, laughing maniacally.

"Hey, no fair!" She heard him call as she dashed to Makarov's garbage can.

"You snooze, you lose!" She called back.

They were definitely watching Cinderella tonight.
