A little poem I wrote about Eve. It's true love waits weekend, and our speaker was talking about Eve, so this is where it came from.

OUR MOTHER, EVE
Our mother, Eve
The first woman on Earth
The perfect woman
Sinless and pure
Perfect relationship with God
Perfect relationship with her husband
Perfect relationship with the earth
Sweet blossom of Eden
The daughter of God
Lady of the light
Bringer of life
Holy and stainless
Innocent and untainted
Who would have thought that she would lead to our downfall
With her simple choice to eat some fruit
That God had told her not to
And her choice to offer the tasty treat to her husband
The world has never been the same since
