Twilight sat outside her castle enjoying the fresh night air when she heard a noise. She looked to where it came from to see an exceptionally large snake-like slug. Twilight curious of the species picked up the slug with her magic and trotted to her library to do her favorite pass time research. twilight was up all night before she combed through all of her bestiary books. Twilight was considering calling the slug a new species however she opted against that before she got final input. Twilight got Spike and had him sent a letter to Fluttershy.
Fluttershy just finished feeding breakfast to all her furry friends and was about to make herself a daisy tulip sandwich. After making her breakfast a scroll appears on top of her sandwich looking at the seal she finds that it's from Twilight and she needs help identifying a slug she found. Fluttershy wanting to make a new animal friend and wanting to eat her breakfast settle to take her sandwich with her as she flew to Twilights castle. When Fluttershy arrived at Twilights castle she notices spike is outside. Spike instructs Fluttershy to follow him to Twilights laboratory. Spike lead Fluttershy to a set of white double doors it was when Spike opened the doors did Fluttershy realize that this was Twilights laboratory. Once Fluttershy was inside the room she got the attention of Twilight. Twilight guided Fluttershy to the slug and she gasped. Fluttershy explained the slug was actually a type of worm that requires a mare to carry its young as an incubator.
Twilight with this newly founded knowledge asked Fluttershy if she would carry the worms young. Fluttershy accepted and got her self into position with her rear facing the worm. Twilight picked up the worm with her magic and placed it near Fluttershy while she prepared a recording gem. Once the recording gem was recording Twilight let go of the worm and it started to crawl to Fluttershy. When the worm was a meter away from Fluttershy three tentacles shot out of the worm and started to caress her flanks making her rear legs fallout from behind her towards the worm. Then as the worm gets to three inches from Fluttershy's rear legs the worm begins to engulph Fluttershy's hind legs and plot. Twilight has the recording gem switch to an internal x-ray to record what happens inside. The worm slips what appears to be an ovipositor into Fluttershy's' womb and one and the other eggs are deposited into her womb. It isn't long before dozens or hundreds of eggs are deposited into Fluttershy's' womb. Twilight switches the recording gem back to its default recording settings to record Fluttershy and the worm. Fluttershy is now laying on the ground panting as the worm pours more eggs into her womb, then there is a shift and the womb lifts Fluttershy up into the air and holds her there for a few seconds before gently placing her on the ground.
Fluttershy begins to pull her hind legs out of the worms mouth and thanks it for letting her carry its young. The worm rubs its head against Fluttershy's large bloated stomach before starting to crawl away to a corner of the room. Twilight thanks Fluttershy for her help and asks her how it felt to receive the worms young and if the species has a name already. Fluttershy answers all of Twilights questions and finds out the species is actually an undiscovered species.
Twilight goes to call the worms species the twilightshy worm and goes to publish several papers on the species. From how the worms aphrodisiac mucous can be used to how its reproduction method mirrors that of the old changeling under Chrysalis compared to under Thorax. Twilight gained a great amount of notoriety after her discovery the twilightshy worm.
