He wanted her attention.
Maybe that explained why he was sporadically skipping classes. HER classes to be precise. Like right now for instance. He was lying on his back, on the rooftop of the school (the only place that usually wasn't so noisy), his red bangs covering his eyes when suddenly she came bursting into his world.
"Oi, Sawada!" Yankumi said. "Why did you skip my class again? This is the third time this week. What is this I've been hearing from Minami that you've been attending Fujiyama-sensei's class?" She walked over to the spot where he was napping and waved her hand in front of his face. "Oi! Are ya listening to me ya brat?" Yankumi asked, slipping into her Yakuza mode without realizing it.
Yep, he had her attention alright. It wasn't the kind he wanted, but at least it was something. Better than nothing right?
"Oi, Sawada!"
"Shut up, you're too noisy," Shin mumbled. It was just the way he preferred it…for now.
