I circled the nexeus once or twice, trying to decide on which door had not been previously visited. Finally I decided on a door with two eyes, one under the other. The actual door was blue, but without the eyes it wasn't as nearly as interesting. My hand trembled as I reached for the doorknob. Then again, I always had a nervous feeling when exploring somewhere new.

Upon entering, I immediately saw four eyes sitting on the floor. In the distance, I could see more eyes lay about some bloody figures. I made my way towards them, curious as to what their faces looked like. ...Did they even have faces? The excitement took me over, for I found myself running to greet them. When I reached them however, I was anything but happy. Well, I'm not happy to see most of these creatures, but I shamefully admit I've grown fond of some of them. Only the ones who look a little more human.

These creatures resembled something I've seen before. It was never bloody, though. Sometimes, if I accidentally bumped that..thing its face would be completely mixed about. But never bloody, that wasn't for that creature. Perhaps because it was specifically supposed to be for these..? It didn't matter, though. Nothing meaning anything mattered here, because this place was just for me. If there was a meaning, I would choose whether or not I acknowledge it! I turned away from the horrifying creatures, wanting to explore more. Perhaps I would come across something more ineresting. I started to travel to the right, passing an arm reaching for whatever might be above. It had no idea what it was reaching for of course. It had no eyes. Continuing to travel to the right, I passed another arm. I stopped walking, for this one caught my interest. It had one eye in the palm of its hand. It, too, was reaching. 'What for?' I wondered. Since it could see, it obviously did not have to reach about, desperately trying to reach for something that might not even be there. I wanted to take its hand, but didn't since the eye might not close. I then turned to my left. Walking more slowly with every step, I grew a bit impatient. My bicycle appeared in front of me, just like I knew it would. It always did.

Ahead of me was but another arm, trying to get a hold of whatever it could. But beyond that, is what caught my attention. A small field of eyes, trying to see what was just out of their sight. I felt sick to my stomach. Putting my bike away, I started to walk through the field. Of course, I tried avoided stepping on anything. I just didn't know, nor did I ever know, why I chose to walk through this horrid area. I felt their eyes watching me, unable to blink. I must have been thinking too hard, because to my horror, I tripped. A smashed eye soiled my shoe, while all the other just stared. Some looking at the eye on my shoes, others looking around the ones dirtying my clothes. There was nothing else they could do; they had no mouth to scream nor feet to run. I quickly tore at my cheeks, a scream trying to emerge from my sore throat. Nothing happened. No matter how I pulled or pinched, I couldn't wake up. As I continued my attempt to scream, the door opened. Immediately, I turned wide eyes to see what it was.
