This is stupid but it's cute so I'm going to post it, okay?

Nico di Angelo was walking to the dining pavilion after finally escaping from his days of 'rest' in the infirmary he had promised Will he would commit to. Nico wasn't going to admit it, but he had really needed those days off, and it wasn't all bad being in such close proximity to Will. But there was no way he was ever going to admit it, especially not to Will.

He had slipped out of the infirmary when Will was occupied with another patient, and decided to take Jason up on his offer to sit with him over dinner. Nico stuffed his hands in his pockets and trudged across the camp towards dinner, not lifting his eyes from the ground. He still wasn't sure what people thought of him, but he thought it was best to keep his head down and stay out of everyone's way until he was needed.

As Nico drew closer to the dining pavilion, he could see Jason sitting at their table. He was already eating and didn't see Nico approach. In fact, no one seemed to be looking his way. That was just fine.

Then it all happened at once.

Nico didn't have time to turn around when he heard the footsteps approach at a running pace, nor did he have time to react when Will Solace ran up beside him, squeezed him into a one armed hug and kissed him on the cheek, which was quickly followed by a flash from a camera. Then, Will let go of Nico and ran off to joint his brothers and sisters at the Apollo table, leaving Nico standing in the middle of the pavilion looking dazed.

It seemed that Jason had finally looked up from his food, as his mouth was slightly open and his fork was halfway to its destination before it clattered to his plate. He quickly removed his glasses and rubbed them on his shirt before putting them back on his nose, slightly askew, and continued to gape at Nico as he sat down at their table.

'Not one word,' Nico growled, helping himself to some food. He turned around to look at the Apollo table just in time to see Will give him an exaggerated wink and quickly turned back and caught Jason's eye, unable to hide the grin that plastered his face.
