Author's Note: I always believed the writers could have done a much better job with Andrea's character. This is a different version of the the episode "Everybody is Talking 'Bout It.
Chapter 1: Revelations
Andrea and Brandon are arguing about Andrea's obsession with the subject of sex and AIDS and Brandon has just said that the worst part is her lack of experience. This is where the story starts.
"Before you go putting people down about their "lack of experience," Brandon, you should find out all the facts. Because you see, I know all about the consequences of sex and I know a whole lot more about HIV and AIDS than I hope you ever will!" Andrea shouted.
"Really? What makes you so knowledgeable about these topics? If I am not mistaken, you are still a virgin so all this information you supposedly know has come from where? A couple of pamphlets you've picked up over the past couple of weeks!" Brandon yelled.
"You know what? You don't know a damn thing cause if you did, you would know that I am not a virgin! The only thing special about my first time was that it wasn't consensual! Yeah, you heard me right, I was raped, three years ago! And what's worse, the jackass who did it made me HIV positive, so don't you dare tell me I am inexperienced!" Andrea stepped back in shock. How could she have told him that. None of her new friends were supposed to know about that. She looked up into his horrified eyes.
"Andrea I- I'm sorry. I had no idea."
"Oh God! Just forget I said that. I don't know what I was thinking. I have to go now," Andrea babbled.
"Wait! Andrea! Come back here!"
"Just drop it Brandon! Forget I said anything! Good-bye."
