A/N: This is my first attempt at smut. I guess it's not exactly smut. Whatever! I'm having severe writer's block, so I just wrote this little number in attempt to get my brain rolling. Their eyes would lock as he pressed her back into the bed, fingers intertwined. Cold, he feared. Cold was almost a sin to him.
Every night, images of fiery red hair would sink into icy blue as his fingers trailed over frozen lips and cheeks. Her expression was positioned the same, wide eyed and terrified. And he couldn't blame anyone other than himself.
He could've made it.
He hadn't tried hard enough, had he?
Then, he would be reminded as warm skin graced his cheek, cupping it. Cerulean eyes would meet tawny. She was there.
Alive.
In mere seconds, clothes would be discarded, carelessly thrown about the bed and floor. His mouth would be set to her breast, her core, relishing in her gasps. Small hands would twist themselves into his hair, clutching desperately. Her vocalized pleasure brought heat to his cheeks as he pressed harder until he watched that fiery redhead writhe beneath, crumpling to pieces against his lips and tongue.
She would cling to him, biting into his shoulder as he moved steady, deep, and measured. It was all hot breathing.
The freckled young woman would whisper words of love, feeling her consort's heart throb frantically. Calloused hands would roam, whispering her name, which was all at once a promise and question. She would promise she wasn't cold, just moments after they fell apart together.
His hands would feel her skin.
It was warm. Soft and fair, deeply flushed.
She was okay.
And alive.
Just like that, they would fall asleep, curled into each other, warm beneath the blankets and each other.
His chilly nightmares were replaced with ones of summer breezes and a free spirited redheaded princess as he peacefully slept through the night.
