Inspiration always strikes right when I have a whole boatload of work to do :( So, here's another poem :D Please review? This came to me after visiting the community, Loyal Subjects of the White Queen and Mad Hatter. I had never looked at it before, I don't think, and I read the description. It said:
"There once was a Hatter with an impossible dream, he fell in love with a beautiful White Queen." And so I do not own that line (which appears in the poem) Mercedes Aria doesss :)
"Impossible"
Impossible dreams
There's no such thing!
Even a raven
Who wants to sing!
Impossible thoughts
What are those?
I'll never have one
Unless Time slows.
I am a Hatter
With an impossible dream-
I've fallen in love
With our beautiful Queen
That is crazy,
It's mad and insane!
It'll never work, ask anyone
It'll cause us too much pain
We'll end up apart
Alone in the world.
Our lives will be ruined;
Torn up and hurled!
There are only so many
Impossible things.
Unfortunately, though
This fact really stings.
It hurts for one reason|
And one reason only-
I'll never have her
Shall I always be lonely?
