A/N - At long last! Here is Laura's version of events from just before 'End Of Trial Period'. This is after 'The Bonding' and is a pair with 'If you Love Somebody, let Them Go'. Sorry it's taken me a while, I had to do an assignment.

Laura Cadman walked back into Evan's quarters, or rather the quarters they were sharing, and lay down backwards on the bed with a sigh.
She was confused. She'd emailed Doctor Sheppard for the forms to officially record their bonding and she'd half filled them out already, but she didn't know how to approach Evan about it.
She thought that she had gotten an indication that Evan wanted to stay bonded, considering that he was the one who chose her, but she wasn't sure.
They hadn't even approached the subject in the two weeks they'd been living together. They'd played happy couples on Castiin, for the benefit of Tierion and the Castiinans, and they lived together, sharing quarters and a bed, even ending up curled up together by morning, but neither spoke about it.
Standing up she went over to Evan's laptop that sat on the desk beside the wall, accessing her emails and bringing up the one from Doctor Sheppard. The half completed marriage record forms were on the tablet PC that she had sitting on the desk next to the laptop.
She made sure he would see them and hoped he would want to fill them out.
Turning, she decided a shower would be in order. She made her way over to the other side of the room, absentmindedly picking up the odd piece of Evan's clothing as she went, contemplating married life.
What a concept...
