Two author's notes:

#1 - Yes, it is short. I couldn't make it any longer without waffling.
#2 - I've tried not to alter Pellinor canon about Bardic views of time too much. Some, ahem, adjustments may have crept in.

Time is a multitude of strands, intertwining and yet never quite touching. Its many layers are separated and it is only the dreamers who can see beyond their own reality into what was, what is elsewhere, and what will be. Even these mystical powers allow only glimpses and no more; nor can those who see what is hidden in the distant twists of Time and Fate alter that which they perceive. They may attempt to change their present, and thus what is yet to come, but the past and future are closed to their direct interference.

Sometimes, however, something, perhaps a destiny denied or a path not taken, happens that rips through the veils both forwards and backwards in time to reach into many ages and transform them. It cannot be controlled, it cannot be changed; it itself is the creator of a new reality. It cascades forward into the future and ripples back into the past. It changes Fate and sets the world on a new course. Past, present and future shift into a new pattern. Everything changes...

Reviews, of course, would be much appreciated...
