She tried talking to him. But no matter how much she wanted to, no sound came out.
He thought of himself as evil, after what he did to her.
She understood why he did it. She already forgave him long ago.
He cursed the day of his birth, wishing he was never born.
She sent him a card every year, telling him how glad she was that she met him.
He couldn't believe that she still trusted him after all they'd been through.
She had always trusted him, never a single thread of doubt in her heart.
He was the sad harmony, only allowed to shadow her.
She was the sweet melody, shining in the spotlight.
He was the gloomy blue of the dark night sky.
She was the radiant red of the rising sun.
He was full of lies and deceit.
She was the truth, her heart as pure as gold.
He was the small enemy, only to be crushed like an ant.
She was the might warrior, big, strong and overpowering all.
His heart was heavy, with sadness and pain.
Her heart was light, filled with friendship and love.
He was the Emperor of the darkest land.
And she was the Empress of light.
They were destined to be separate, as much as their hearts hated it.
They tried to be together, but fate kept them apart.
But one thing remained the same, their love for each other.
