Well I thought I might as well right up this for New Year's Eve seeing as I can't seem to get in the right mind to work on my other fics. I thought writing out something else would help my writing block lol.

Chapter 1 Apathy
Have you ever had a tune that you can't get out of your head you know how annoying it is well this is like that only worse...Kaname Kuran is way most frustrating and annoying person I've ever known and I've known a lot of them damn it!
It all started when he arrived here and that stupid bastard Cross said Kuran would be rooming with me, really now that I think about it I did have some pills stashed away I should have just overdosed instead of having to listen to Cross' insane drivel he spews... come on the man's crazier than some of the people here.
The first time Kaname walked through the doors everyone stared, it had been a long time since there'd been a new patient at the home...everyone but Zero that is he was busy having a nap so of course who's the first person he goes to talk to - him.
"Hello I'm Kaname Kuran" he had said holding out his hand.
Zero opened one of his violet eyes looking up for a second "Zero Kiryuu, now go away" he replied going back to his nap.
"Zero don't be mean to your new room mate" Cross chastised him.
Zero shot up...really a room mate, he hadn't had one of those since he'd tried to strangle Aidou in his sleep.
"Don't look at me like that now, you won't ever be able to leave if you can't socialise without threatening to kill someone" the blonde doctor said.
Kaname shook his head, honestly it had to be him who got the psychopath.
"Ichiru won't like it..." Zero muttered under his breath and shook his head.
Later that night in their room Zero continued to ignore Kaname without any effort and it was beginning to annoy the brunette that the person he was meant to live with for however long he would be held prisoner here refused to so much as utter a single word to him after their greeting or even look at him.
"Hey stop ignoring me" he growled and threw a pillow at Zero after hours of pent up agitation.
"What?" Zero answered and looked up from the other bed where he'd been reading a book.
"Answer my questions damn it" Kaname demanded.
"If I do will you stop being so annoying? Okay" he said in an extremely bored tone.
"You're the insufferable one here" he spat "So why are you here anyway? Apart from what the Chairman said about death threats you seem like a normal teenager if a bit emo". Kaname crossed his arms across his chest.
"Really I would have said you were more emo with the dark hair and red eyes and all" Zero commented scratching his silver hair "So why are you in a place like this?" he said completely avoiding the question.
"Why are you avoiding my question?" he asked curiously.
"I'm not, you're avoiding mine" Zero countered sarcastically.
"I asked first, now stop being so childish" Kaname growled as he started to become angry.
"According to Cross I have Schizoid Personality Disorder" he explained "Now go away I'm trying to read moron" and went back to his book.
Zero wished he could have killed him when he had the chance. The bastard was more trouble than he was worth just like every other human out there...actually even more than everyone else...really just because they were rooming together didn't mean he could force him to join him in his stupid schemes.
