"Teddy, come here for a second"

Teddy put down the train set he was playing with and cuddled up with his Uncle Harry on the sofa.
"I have an early Christmas present for you, just don't tell Ginny yet, you are supposed to find it under the tree in the morning," winked Harry and placed a square package on Teddy's lap.
"What is it? It feels hard, like a book. Is it a book from Aunt Hermione?" His electric blue eyes, matching his hair tonight, lost interest for a moment.

"Just unwrap it," laughed Harry.

Teddy tore the wrapping paper and found an album. He opened it to find his parents looking back at him, waving and smiling as they danced around in the snow. His heart sank a little, as it always did when he saw all the old pictures at his grandmother's house.

"I found some old pictures of your dad in some old boxes at Grimmauld Place last time and asked Grandma for your mom's pictures". Harry flipped through the album," That was taken when your mom was 11, she had just received her Hogwarts letter… Oh, look at this… This was taken in her 4th year after Gryffindor vs Hufflepuff match. I wonder what was the final score," said Harry. "And this one was taken after she passed her Auror exams. If you look closely, she seems to have something in her mouth, probably chocolate," teased Harry, making Teddy giggle.

Teddy continued to flip through until he found his dad's pictures. Remus Lupin looked very lively surrounded by his 3 friends, one of whom looked very much like Harry, messy black hair, spectacles and all. They seemed to be at a wedding with a banner hung behind there bearing the words CONGRATULATIONS MR AND MRS POTTER. "Yeah that was my parents' wedding… and on the next page we have the old Order group shot. There's Remus… he had pretty wild hair back then," Harry pointed. "I couldn't find your dad's childhood pictures but I think you would like this last picture". Teddy looked down at the only family picture the Lupins had. Tonks cradled baby Teddy in her arms while Remus was hugging her and was whispering to his son.

A tiny tear dropped onto the picture. "They loved you very much Teddy, they just wanted to make the world safer for you," Harry comforted Teddy in his arms. "I know," he sniffed.

Later that night, when Ginny went to check on Teddy, she found him sleeping peacefully, his tiny arms wrapped around his little photo album.
