I gasped and exhaled dry air at an abnormal pace. The sun glared its rays down on me; making my sticky and drying substance-covered skin feel even more oppressing. It didn't help that my thick parka was still on me. Also my right eye had gone blind from blood clot. I could still feel the thick fluid ooze down my tear duct down to my dry, cracking lips. I couldn't think.

Akamaru read me once again and bit down on the arm of the parka and ripped it off. My arm immediately breathed the air, being freed from that damn parka. But it continued the stingy, hot feeling it had before Akamaru removed it. He did the same to the rest of his parka, ripping it all to shreds. Being the wonderful dog he was, he tried to help me even more with the pain.

There was a hilt-length kunai lodged in between my ribs. And with every ragged breath I would take, my side would sear with the ever-so-slight movement of the kunai inside me. Akamaru grabbed the hilt with his unsteady teeth (he was scared too) and attempted to pull it out. Pain coursed through my body, pumping with my hastened heat. I cried out, and managed to whimper hoarsely to my dog, "D-don't! I can't-!" I hollered out yet again, cut hand clutching the area above it, hoping the anytime my body would just decide numb the whole spot entirely.

Or my whole body.

Akamaru whined mournfully, putting his damp nose to my cheek. I sighed at the coolness of his nose and closed my eyes. My ribs throbbed, both from the ninja tool and the quickened hammering of my heart. The grass around me licked occasionally around my gashes openings.

Then, just like that, tears poured down my face. I stared with my good up at my dog and the glaring summer sun bitter sweetly. I was going to die.

I grudgingly lifted up my arm to rest it lightly on Akamaru's head. My lips parted, my breathing gotten more reckless. "Boy…I need you to-to..go get Naruto…" My voice croaked, trying to agree with my unsteady rasps of inhales and exhales.

My bleary vision showed me that Akamaru, tail tucked between his legs and ears having no perk whatsoever in them, dashed off into the distance, to the Konoha gates, where I watched him.

I closed my eyes again. I needed to tell him one more thing before we departed…for good.

A/N: What Kiba really wanted to tell Naruto is up to you and you're imagination ;)

But if you guys really know me, you'd know that I had a confession in mind.
