Our promise of a lifetime
I touch the cold handle of his room, But before I could open it, I thought "Where could you be?"
"What are you doing running around?"
I turned around to see him, standing behind me.
"I was just looking for-"
Before I could finish, he cuts me off.
"You should be leaving now."
He pushes me out of the house and helps me up my horse.
"I think it's better if you go back and look for him" I whispered.
"Well, be going" I shook the reins of the horse. We trotted down the village, through the streets and we finally arrived.
"Where did you go?" My mother yelled.
Without an answer, I went to my room.
"Just a visit with someone" I whispered.
Tears streaked my face. I didn't know what I was thinking but I did the first thing that came to my mind.
Go back.
I turned right at the end of the road thinking
I hope this is the right way
How could I forget? I was there an hour ago.
"Are you alone?" A deep voice said behind me.
"No" I turned around to see a man in a black suit.
"Are you even sure you want to go up this way, young lady?"He asked me looking up at Phantomhive manor.
"Yeah" I started to walk away, but he caught my arm.
"What?" I asked him, trying to pull away.
"You're making a mistake here lady" He tried to drag me, but I pulled my arm free.
I started to run up the hill towards Phantomhive manor.
Once I reached the door, I pushed it open.
It never is usually open. I guess Finny forgot to lock it.
