Watch The Rain, Robin

Starfire stared at the rain through the window. She loved the sound of rain, the look of rain, it calmed her. It helped her think of things that… she needed to think about. Or more likely… what she… wanted to think about.

She brought her hand up and touched the cool glass with her fingers, trailing the raindrops as they fell down. She smiled, leaning her forehead up against the window as well, feeling the cool glass on her skin she sighed.

She lay there for forever. That's what it seemed like to her.

Just… thinking.

Sighing once again, she shut her eyes and brought her other hand up to the glass.

'I feel, so tired,' she thought. 'Rain always seem to do this to me… does it not?' Starfire opened her eyes again and stared, her eyelids gently drooping down, so much that she could still watch the rain. 'If only I could feel this calm around him. Then it would make everything easier…' she thought again.

"Hey, Star."

Starfire slightly jumped at the voice. ''Speak of the Devil', I think that is the right… um… um… oh never the mind.'

She turned around from the window and smiled at him. "Hello, friend Robin."

Robin came up next to her and she turned around, looking at the rain again, he followed her gaze.

"What're you looking at?"

She didn't answer him; she only continued to watch the rain. "Hey, Star?" he asked again.

"Do you like the rain, Robin?" Starfire asked.

"Not, particularly, no, why?"

"I love the rain," she whispered softly.

He laughed lightly. "Is that why you always look at it?"

She nodded looking at him for only a brief moment before returning her gaze to the window.

"It helps me very much."

He smiled looking at her, leaning up against the window. "Oh… like how?"

"Well, I have often heard that, massages and other things seem to calm a person down but… I know it may sound very weird but… the rain… calms me."

Robin smiled wider. "It's not weird… it calms other people too… you're not the only one you know."

A light blush spread across her nose. "Oh," was all she said.

He laughed at her again. Her blush deepened. He stopped laughing and took his hand and gently ran it through her hair. "You're so cute…" he barely whispered. He probably didn't want her to hear it… but she heard it anyway.

She looked at him and smiled, the redness disappearing from her face. "What calms you, Robin?"

He pulled his hand out of her hair and thought for a moment. "Well, I'd have to say… swimming."

"Swimming?"

"Yea… well, not when you're like in a rush or anything… but like when you're trying to pass time, you know… that kind of swimming."

She looked at him quizzically. He laughed. "Never mind."

Starfire nodded slightly turning back to the rain.

Robin turned around, leaning his back against the glass, staring at the wall on the other side of the room.

Starfire looked at him again, seeing the side of his face and not the full, she turned to him, frowning slightly.

"Watch the rain, Robin."

End

Eh, not my best… oh well.

On second thought… no… wait… never mind.

Oh and I'm sorry about anyone who reads Four Seasons! I keep trying to write it down but then something always interrupts me! (You know, write it down on a piece of paper and then put it on the computer with the Internet and then post it.) And then on top of that… I procrastinate… I know… I'm stupid!

NO FLAMES!
