Dean was out getting groceries, but he would be back soon. Sam would have to act fast to clean up this mess before Dean returned.

"Cas," Sam ordered, "go sit with it in the bathroom."

Castiel held it tightly in his arms, looking confused." I don't understand, Sam. Why must I keep it in the bathroom?"

"Because its fur wont stick t o the tile like it sticks to the carpet, hurry up, go" Sam was flustered, he ran the vacuum over the carpet and even on the couch and the recliner. He could not be sure what it had touched. After hiding the vacuum in the closet again, Sam wiped down the coffee table with dust spray, so all the fur would come off cleanly. Damn, this thing shed like there's no tomorrow. After making sure that it didnt have any accidents, Sam sprayed some air freshener, Dean would be able to tell that an animal was there if he didn't.

Sam ran to stow all the cleaning supplies and tried to act natural sitting on the couch, reading a magazine. Sam heard Dean's keys jingling in the lock, and the door opened. Sam jumped to his feet.

"Whoa there, Sammy, you look like you got something to hide. Not watching porn out here in the open, are ya? Cas could walk out and that'd be awkward…" Dean chuckled, putting the grocery bags on the kitchen table.

"Cas! Come out here and help me with the food, will ya?"

"No-"Sam started, but it was too late

Cas came into the kitchen, his new friend trailing behind him. Dean had yet to notice.

"Hey Cas, hand me that b- ACHOO"

Sam flinched.

"Dean, don't get mad, okay? Cas found her outside and she loves him and he didn't want to just leave her."

Cas picked her up "Dean, Sam said you're allergic, but isn't there medicine you can take? She won't leave me."

Dean turned to Sam "A cat? You know I'm allergic! Why did you let it in?"

Sam put his hands up defensively, about to explain himself, but Cas stepped between them. "Dean, she thinks I'm her mother. I cannot throw her out now. You're just going to have to deal with it."

"Excuse me? When did you start playing on the offensive?"

Cas furrowed his brow "I don't… never mind. It's just that a mother cat will protect her baby no matter what, right?"

"I guess you're right." Sam and Cas smiled at Dean, both relived "Has she got a name yet?

Cas shook his head, "not yet."

"Okay just keep No Name away from me."

Cas smiled at his new friend "I think Dean likes you."

Dean was not in the best of moods. He had to go all the way back to the story and get all of the allergy medicine they had in stock, he didn't know how he was going to survive this cat. Now all he wanted was to relax in his room and go to sleep. After showering and taking a ton of allergy meds, he settled onto bed, closed his eyes, and drifted off into sleep.

He woke to something sharp digging into his leg. Dean jumped from the bed, ready for a fight. But it was just No Name, playing with a loose string on his comforter.

"You little shit." Dean glared at it, crawling back into bed and kicking it off the bed. She jumped right back on, however. She was relentless. "If you're going to stay here, shut up. Got it?"

The kitten seemed to understand. She curled up against Dean's side, nudging him slightly. He sighed and reached to stroke her fur. She started to purr quietly.

Dean smiled to himself. "I guess you're not all bad, No Name- I mean, Allie. Yeah You're a good cat, Allie."
