Hermione was basking in the spring sun when she saw Loony Lovegood waltzing her way over to where she, Ron, and Harry where sitting. Hermione sighed.
"Hello, Hermione Granger!" The younger girl sang, hiding her hands behind her back.
"Hello Luna." Hermione said, trying not to be rude. She turned her head and gave Harry and Ron each a look clearly stating 'help!'
"Yeah, hi Loo- I mean, Luna." Ron sighed biting at his thumbnail. Ron nudged Harry.
"What brings you here today?" Harry asked. Luna's smile brightened and she rocked back and forth on her feet.
"Here!" She exclaimed, thrusting out her hand at Hermione. "This is for you."
Hermione looked at Luna, then at the yellow dandelion in the blonde girls clutches.
"Thanks, Luna…" Hermione said, taking the yellow weed from Luna. The younger girl smiled brightly again. "What's it for?" Hermione asked.
"It's for you."
"Oh."
Hermione looked at the weed, then at Luna, then back at the weed. She put it up into her hair. Hermione smiled. "It's lovely."
Luna smiled extra bright and speed off. Hermione, not turning back to her laughing friends, watched the other girl chase around a feather flowing in the breeze.
