It's been two year since the giant war but only three weeks since Annabeth died, not in battle as everyone thought she would but in a car accident caused by a drunk driver.

Percy's POV

Flash back

I was at my new house in camp Jupiter when I got the news. Annabeth had been out visiting her father and step mother. However Lupa said she never even got there because some drunk t-boned her. She was at the hospital for only a few hours when she died. I didn't want to believe it but as soon as I saw the body I knew it was her.

It's been three I'm on my way to my mother's to tell her what happened. The sun hasn't been out for a while all there is is snow.
