"Nicola, hurry up, we're going to miss the train!" a female voice yelled.
The voice came from Candi Peterson, a pretty, thin, 15 year old girl. Shad very long, dark red hair, shining blue eyes, pale skin, and she wabout 5'4. At that moment, a thin girl who looked no older than 17, emergerom a white two story house. She had short, dark brown hair, beautifureen eyes, and pale skin, and she appeared to be 5'8.

"Ok, ok, I'm here, Candi!" said the girl, whose name was Nicola. Candi toout her wand.

"Lumos!" she muttered. In a second a bright purple, triple-decker buppeared before them. Candi and Nicola boarded the bus, giving the driver ack of galleons.

"To Kings Cross Station," Nicola told the driver.

With in an hour the two sisters were at Kings Cross Station. Candi and
Nicola hauled their luggage to platform 9.

"Where's Platform 9 ¾," Candi asked herself, "I don't see it." "Excuse me,"
Candi said, tapping a boy with jet black hair on the back. "Could you hele find platform 9 ¾?" The boy turned around, for a moment Candi starento his brilliant green eyes, then her eyes flickered to his scar.

"You must be a transfer student," the boy said.

"Uh, yeah, I'm a transfer student from Durmstrang, my sister is too," Candeplied nervously.

"Well, to get on to platform 9 ¾ you must walk into the barrier dividing
Platform 9 and 10, and you're there," the boy told Candi.

"Thank you" Candi said as she started toward the barrier.

"Wait," the boy said, walking toward Candi, "what's your name?" he asked.

"Candi Peterson," she replied, "what's yours?" she asked.

"Harry Potter," he replied, "do you want to sit with me and my friends ohe train?" he asked.

"Yeah, sure" she replied, and they both walked on in silence, towards tharrier, hauling their luggage.

"Apparently Nicola found out how to get to the platform," Candi thought ahey arrived on the platform, she saw her sister, deep in conversation wit boy. Harry led her to a compartment, the two hauled their luggage on the train, they stored it, and then went to sit across from a boy and irl.

"Hermione, Ron," Harry said, "this is Candi."

"Hi Candi," Ron greeted her cheerfully. Hermione glared hatefully at Candi,
but luckily only Candi noticed. "Hermione, what's wrong?" asked Ron,
noticing the burning hatred in Hermione's eyes.

"Oh, nothing Ron," Hermione answered, "Great, now I've got competition for
Harry," she thought. Hermione smiled a fake smile.

"You can sit by me Candi," Harry told Candi, smiling, as he sat down in eat across from Ron.

"Thanks, Harry," Candi replied, sitting down across from Hermione. Thrain began to move

"Well, well, well," Draco sneered, "looks like Potter and Weasley havittle girl friends," Draco started to laugh. Hermione and Candi blushed.

"Hermione is not my girlfriend," Ron spat defensively, "and Candi isn't
Harry's."

"Who's this?" Draco asked looking at Candi, as though she were an uglart. "Wow, I've never seen a girl so beautiful as her," Draco thought.

" None of your business, Malfoy, anyway where are Crabbe and Goyle," Harrsked.

" None of you business, Potter," Draco sneered and walked off.

"Who was that?" Candi asked.

"Draco Malfoy," Hermione answered.

The four talked for the rest of the trip. When they reached the statiohey took a carriage up to the castle. At the feast Dumbledore made hisual announcements.
