-Prologue-
JJ: "Experience, that most brutal of teachers. But you learn, my God do you learn." C.S Lewis
JJ stood there, like a living corpse. Her instinct as a 13 year-old forced her to pull the trigger, but she never knew whether she'll missed or not.
"I-I'm sorry, Joe…"she said, holding back her tears. Soon enough, the police and FBI entered her house. One of the agents approached her.
"JJ… What you just did is called self-defense, you shouldn't blame yourself for all this…"Agent Locke said, knelt to the ground. JJ didn't responded, she just stood there, traumatized. Agent Locke sighed.
"We will get you to a witness protection, would you like that?" she asked, to JJ. But of course, JJ refused it. For being protected by the government seemed similar as getting locked up in jail.
"So what do you want now, sweetie?" Agent Locke asked, again.
"All I want is freedom, I don't wanna be protected. I hope you understand my decision, Kate…"JJ replied, her voice still shaking. Kate just nodded, and left her behind, while helping the medics carried Joe's dead body to the mortuary. Kate then approached her boss.
"What do you think will happen to that girl?" Kate said, with a sympathetic tone.
"Depends. Sometimes, people could get very vulnerable." he replied, then he said again; "Experience could either paralyze or fix you. Depends on the experience itself." Kate just nodded, felt a little pity to JJ. Will she ever forget about this experience?
JJ: "Life is a game; play it. Life is too precious; do not destroy it." Mother Teresa.
A/N: I think the only thing that's good is the quotes.. But it's up to you! Review please!
