Haircut
John was sitting on his chair typing on his laptop after work, in an empty flat, he noticed soon after he got home. But it wasn't too long before he heard the heavy footsteps of his flat mate coming up the stairs. John didn't give a second glance to the opening door and continued to type an email to one of his patients. But a quick look to the figure taking of his long coat made him do a double-take.
"What did you to your hair?!" John couldn't help but exclaim.
"I got it cut." A little more blunt why don't you?
"Yes, I could tell, but why?" He had to admit it looked well on him. Instead of his usual dark curls, he had obtained a dark blonde color, cut, styled, and carefully slicked back, he barely looked like himself; hell, he didn't look like himself. But he looks goood . Oh shut up. Whatever, but you know he does.
"I thought I have been getting too recognizable, thought it was time for a change." Can't stay with anything for that long, can you? But that's why you love him. I said to SHUT UP.
Sherlock walked to the kitchen to get something that John wasn't paying attention to because he was too busy staring, he was aware he was, but he couldn't seem to tear his eyes away from his friend.
"Take a picture, it will last longer." Sherlock shouted sarcastically from the kitchen, without taking his eyes off the tea kettle. So that's what he is doing, what has gotten into him? John realized how hot his face felt; he hid his face with his laptop screen. Until he had a brilliant idea, he shoved his hand into his jeans pockets and grabbed his phone. He slid the camera above the laptop screen and got ready to take a picture.
"Hey Sherlock!" John yelled into the kitchen, Sherlock spun around upon hearing his name.
Snap.
Sherlock heard the quiet noise along with John snickering into his phone, just peeking up above his laptop.
"Hey!"
