I sat down on the couch. I had nothing to do today. Well, not yet, Jacob Black, my best friend, was supposed to call me. We were supposed to hang out today-- as usual.

Suddenly, the phone rang. I jumped up to answer.

"Hello?" I said into the phone.

"Bella?" A farmiliar voice asked, though couldn't guess who it was.

"Yes, this is she."

"Hey Bella! It's Edward," I almost dropped the phone. EDWARD? Edward Cullen? My Edward? The vampire boyfriend who left me, all those months ago?

"Just when I forget about you," I murrmered. "You come walking back into m life again." He just laughed. "I don't see what's so funny! Now hurry up and talk, I'm waiting for a call,"

"Well, I was just wondering, if your doing anything this weekend,"

"Why? Aren't you in Alaska?" Edward had left to live with another cove of vmpires up in Denali.

"Yeah, but we are on our way to Forks to hunt,"

"And you though 'hey, why don't we go and visit Bella while we're down there'? yeah, almost had me fooled," And people wonder why I get mad at him!

"Well, I do miss you. We used to have so much fun together," I didn't want to talk about the past. I had moved on. The first week was hard, but I was getting a normal life. I had friends, a guy who liked me, everything that I would have gotten a lot sooner, if not for Edward.

"I don't want to discuss the past right now, Edward," I told him. "I've moved on. Now I will see you if your intown, just drop by. But right now, I'm waiting for a friend to call,"

"Okay," I coul tell that he was dissaponted. "You don't have a boyfriend, do you?"

"No, just Jake,"

"The werewolf? Your STILL hanging out wt him?"

"Yes, Edward. I am. And I'm happy. If you want to see me, then tell me o I can be sure that I'm at home, but other than that, I really have to get off the phone."

"I'll stop by your place on Saturday, at 11:00. See you then?"

"Yeah. Bye." And I hung up without another word.

A few minutes later, the phone rang again.

"Hello, Swan residence, Bella speaking," I heard laughter.

"Hello, Isebella Marie Swan, this is Jacob Black, I'm calling about you attending a movie in LaPush today," Silly Jake, always has to make fun of my words.

"No," I said sarcastically, you know, just to mess with him.

"Great, we're going with Embry, Quil, and Claire. How quickly can you get here?" He was very good at discovering my sarcasm.

"I wont be there in about fifteen minute?" I always had to make sure that my timing was perfect.

"Quil and Embry are picking up Claire right now, so they will meet us there,"

"sound good, see you soon," and I hung up. I went upstairs to y room to grab my purse and brush my hair. I was just on my way back down the stairs when the door-bell rang.

I opened the door and my mouth fell open. I couldn't believe that she was here, on my door step!

"Hello, Bella," Rosalie said, pleasantly.

"Rosalie?" I said. I was slightly dumbfound.

"Yup. I was in the neighborhood. Emmet and me were looking for everyone. Do you know were they are?"

"They went up to Denali,"

"How long ago did they go?" I thought for a second.

"A few months ago. Bu I know that, at least, Edward is coming back down this weekend."

"Well, that's good." Rosalie looked me over. I was wearing a 'jesus freak' t-shirt, and skinny jeans, along with some all star converse. She saw my purse. "Oh, are you going somewhere?"

"Yeah," I nodded. "I'm going down to La Push to see some friends."

"Cool. Well, I guess I'll see you later then,"

"Yeah, bye," Then she turned around and ran. I stepped out and headed for my truck.
