Chapter 1- The mysterious hedgehog
The sky was pitch black as the moon shined bright up above. A bright ball of light dashed threw the sky and landed in the clear open grass field in Angle Island. Knuckles the echidna, guardian of the island, was awaken from a nice nap when he suddenly heard the crashing sound near him. The chaos flew from above Knuckles, wondering what might be in their home land. Knuckles walked towards the mysterious crashing sound that had awoken him from his sleep. Rain began to pore down among the floating island. The rock that had crashed from the clear sky was beginning to crack. Knuckles finally reached to the spot of where the rock had crashed. He stared at it, wondering what might it do. "What could this thing be?" the echidna thought as he approached the mysterious rock. The rock soon cracked, causing the ground to shake and the clouds circling around the rock from the ground. Knuckles stood back, holding his fists up, awaiting for something to strike him. The sky soon cleared as it once was before. The ground, that was shaking, suddenly stopped. "This is very strange, huh?" the echidna looked up as he saw a pure white hedgehog looking at him with light blue eyes. "Who are you?" the echidna asked in a furious voice. The white hedgehog said nothing but starred. Knuckles became un-patient and spoke once more. "I won't ask again! Who are you?" he said getting angry. The mysterious hedgehog said nothing but pointed at him. Knuckles looked confused. "What are you doing?" he said with a anger look. The hedgehog then spoke "You're an echidna, am I right?" she said with a calm voice. The echidna felt confused but then soon answered the question of the mysterious hedgehog "Yes I am." he said calmly. "I see. Are you the last of your kind?" she spoke. Knuckles thought to himself, thinking what should he say next? "It seems to be that way." He said as he glanced at her eyes. The mysterious hedgehog spoke "I am Kiya, leader of the planet called Nembus. I came upon this planet to find the legendary hedgehog they call Sonic. Knuckles felt relief of her words, for he knew she was no threat to him. "I know him. He's a friend of mine" he spoke in relief. "Take me to him. I must speak to him at once." She spoke in a demanding order. Knuckles nod and began to fly off the island to lead her to the hedgehog she seeks.
